Job Description:
Job Title: Staff Accountant Location: Palmdale, CA Salary: $27 -
$33 per hour Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated
and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Palmdale.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of
accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company
policies and accounting standards. This is a fantastic opportunity

and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: Journal Entries:
Prepare and post accurate journal entries in the general ledger for
various accounts, ensuring proper classification and compliance
with accounting standards. Fixed Assets: Manage and maintain the
fixed assets schedule, ensuring timely recording, depreciation, and
disposal of assets in accordance with company policies. Financial
Statements Preparation: Assist in preparing the balance sheet,
income statement, and other financial statements, ensuring accuracy
and timeliness for internal and external reporting purposes.
Monitor Contracts: Oversee and track contracts to ensure proper
accounting and adherence to contractual terms, including revenue
recognition and cost management. External Audit Preparation:
Collaborate with external auditors during the audit process,
providing necessary documentation and preparing requested financial
reports to support audit procedures. Qualifications: Bachelor's
degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-3 years of
accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public
accounting setting. Knowledge of general accounting principles and
practices. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
(experience with [specific software name] is a plus). Strong
attention to detail with the ability to work independently and
manage multiple priorities. Excellent communication skills and the
ability to collaborate with various departments. Ability to
maintain confidentiality and exercise professional judgment.
Compensation: The hourly pay for this position ranges from $27 to
