25-09666 We are looking for a Payroll Analyst. This is a direct
hire opportunity based out of Santa Ana, CA (Onsite). Client is
currently seeking a dynamic, motivated and detail-oriented
professional to join our growing Payroll team as a Payroll Analyst,
focusing on ensuring the accuracy and compliance of payroll
operations. As the Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for
assisting with the accurate processing of multi-state payroll and
providing analytical support to improve payroll operations. This
role requires maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local
payroll regulations, as well as ensuring adherence to company
policies. You will play a key role in identifying opportunities to
optimize processes and enhance the employee experience.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business
Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred. 3
years of payroll experience in a multi-state or multi-site
organization. Proficiency with payroll software, preferably
Ceridian Dayforce or other SaaS platforms. Strong knowledge of
payroll regulations, wage and hour laws, and tax compliance.
Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with data analysis tools.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention
to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a
customer-focused approach. Working knowledge of FLSA, federal,
state, and local wages and hours, as well as tax regulations.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities: Payroll Processing and ReconciliationAssist in
the end-to-end payroll processing cycle, ensuring accuracy and
compliance across multi-state operations. Reconcile payroll records
and resolve discrepancies in employee data, earnings, and
deductions. Partner with HR and Finance to ensure seamless data
transfer and accurate payroll calculations. Compliance and Audit
SupportEnsure payroll processes adhere to federal, state, and local
wage and hour laws, including tax regulations. Support internal and
external audits by preparing and validating payroll records and
reports. Monitor and implement changes in payroll legislation and
best practices. Data Management and ReportingMaintain and analyze
payroll data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for
improvement. Generate custom reports for management and other
departments as needed. Collaborate with the IT team to enhance the
payroll system functionality. Employee Support and
CommunicationServe as a point of contact for payroll-related
inquiries, resolving employee issues promptly and professionally.
Provide clear communication to employees regarding payroll
policies, changes, and timelines. Process Improvement and
DocumentationIdentify and implement opportunities to improve
payroll processes, enhancing accuracy and efficiency. Develop and
update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and documentation for
payroll processes. MiscellaneousIn this role, there may be special
projects or other job duties assigned by Management. Annual Base
Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $70,000 to
$85,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors
including but not limited to, position offered, location,
education, training, and/or experience. Solugenix will consider
