Office Manager- Theery Theery Corporation was first established
in 2013 by Kevin Hess and Anthony J. Porter. With their years of
experience combined, they have successfully built a strong
recruitment firm that specializes in helping VC backed startups
from seed funding to IPO as well as Semiconductor and Wireless
Openings. Theery seeks an energetic Office Manager to join a
growing and exciting team! Duties include providing support to
managers, clients, and employees, assisting with daily office
tasks, and managing general administrative activities. This
position is based in Lancaster, CA. The opportunity offers a casual
work environment, Monday through Thursday 4-day work week and
attractive benefits package
Job Responsibilities:The Office Manager is responsible for
coordinating a variety of administrative activities including but
not limited to:
- Organizing, filing, and maintaining departmental records,
documents, and correspondence.
- Updating company directories and employee phone lists, birthday
lists, etc.
- Coordinating and filing various credential and vendor renewals
for our clients.
- Coordinating corporate events and other personnel
administrative activities.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings/activities (i.e.,
facility reservation and set-up, hotel accommodations, catering,
etc.)
- Prepare and organize documents for client proposals and
presentations as needed (contract tracking, printing, organizing
and archiving meeting / support materials, etc.)
- Performs administrative functions in support of supervisor
including gathering and analyzing data; prepares drafts of
correspondence, presentations, spreadsheets, and reports.
- Assists with meetings by preparing and distributing agendas
before meetings, notices, minutes, reports, communication packets,
presentations, and other documentation; attends meetings as
necessary to resolve problems relating to facilities, refreshments,
ensure the meetings run as planned, and takes new meeting
minutes.
- Assist payroll in document preparation and invoicing clients on
a weekly basis.
- Social Media Marketing. Responsible for updating and growing
our presence online. Specifically, the Theery Instagram and
LinkedIN pages.Qualifications:
- 5+ years working in the service or administrative industry
preferred
- Strong writing, spelling, grammar, editing and proofing
skills.
- Clerical/administrative skills including strong personal
computer skills and working knowledge of contemporary general
office methods.
- The ability to present ideas, information, and viewpoints
clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to make routine decisions and determine proper action
based on experience within the limits of policy and
procedures.
- Ability to maintain discretion over highly sensitive Agency and
executive information.
- Effective organizational skills to manage projects.
- Working knowledge of Agency policies and procedures.
- Expertise of MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
required.
- Knowledge of Canva highly preferred.
