This requisition may be filled at the higher grade based on the
requirements listed below.
Our Mojave test team is looking for a Principal OR Sr. Principal
Flight Test Engineer. This person will serve as lead flight test
engineer on our Gulfstream II and Gulfstream IV flying testbed
aircraft in Lancaster and Mojave, CA.
Standard range of duties include:
Provide test planning for envelope expansion followed by mission
system payload testing. Coordinate with engineering disciplines to
initiate a new payload installation on our aircraft and lead Safety
reviews and Flight Readiness Reviews. Serve as an onboard
crewmember and serve as a Test Conductor during flights. Interface
with instrumentation and payload engineers to collect the desired
data. Provide post-flight reports and work within a prescribed
budget. Must attend altitude training and be able to support
evacuation procedures in an emergency.
Basic Qualifications for Principal (Level 3):
Salary Range 2: $114,300 USD - $171,500 USD
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to
base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual
contributions as well as allow employees to share in company
results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be
eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman
