salary.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:The essential
functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Experience with managing costs; including tracking quantities
for production operations and materials.
- Experience with managing and tracking subcontractor work
including progress and preparation of subcontractor progress
estimates.
- Experience with writing and managing RFI's and Submittals
- An understanding of Contract documents and associated
requirements for; change orders, requests for compensation, and
time extensions.
- Experience with project schedules including 3 Week and/or 90
Day Look Ahead Schedules
- Experience on bid-build unit price and lump sum projects with
an understanding of the measurement and payment requirements.
- Document any delays and/or changes to scope of work
- Support and maintain as built drawings
- Coordinates with project superintendents regarding daily
schedules including people, equipment, materials, subcontractors,
suppliers, etc.
- Acts as a liaison between project management and field
employees on schedules, changes in scope of work, and conflict
resolutions
- Understands and follows MBE/WBE/DBE requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Assures compliance with Company safety policies and OSHA safety
standards
- Multi-tasks and stay focused on the big picture while
addressing daily issues
- Help coordinate project sub-contractors for timely completion
and quality.**Please note--Requirements are essential, but
preferences have flexibility. **Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills are required. Ability to listen,
engage, and influence is vital.
- 5-10 years' experience working on public works projects with
both field and office responsibilities is required.
- Excel--Ability to navigate spreadsheets and utilize Excel as a
tracking system required.
- A Driver's License in good standing is requiredPreferences:
- Prior experience working in the L.A. region is
