Job Description:
Summary of Position The Associate VI may perform a variety of
significant tasks, which contribute to the over-all performance and
safety of pistachio & almond production machinery and systems.
These may include performing tasks in multiple areas, including but
not limited to Electrical Systems, Fabrication, Facilities, Food
Safety, IT, Maintenance, Mobile Shop, Packaging, Production,
Sanitation and Water Systems. The Associate VI plays a vital role
in their contribution to the over-all goals of various departments.
Duties & Responsibilities (You may be asked to perform some, or all
of the duties described below. These may include performing tasks
in multiple areas, including but not limited to Electrical Systems,
Fabrication, Facilities, Food Safety, IT, Maintenance, Mobile Shop,
Packaging, Production, Sanitation and Water Systems.) Duties &

infrastructure and the effect isolating water valveOperations of
water valves Location of water valves Location of underground pipe
work Install piping systems for water, steam, compressed air, etc.
Maintain RO systems Installation and repair of all kinds of pipe
work Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and piping
schematics. Install and test pumps, valves, gauges, and backflow
prevention devices. Fit and weld pipes using tools like threaders,
cutters, and torches. Inspect systems to identify wear, leaks,
blockages, or malfunctioning components. Perform preventative
maintenance on industrial plumbing systems. Repair or replace
damaged pipes, joints, valves, and fixtures. Troubleshoot plumbing
issues and provide technical solutions. Conduct pressure tests and
inspections to ensure system integrity and compliance with
standards. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and
industry codes. Maintain accurate records of work performed,
materials used, and inspection results. Coordinate with other
trades (electricians, engineers, HVAC technicians) on complex
installations. Report issues or required upgrades to supervisors or
facility managers. Critical Skills All “Task Level” Critical Skills

Functional Skills Safely operate all job-related machinery and
equipment required for the performance of assigned tasks. Keep
assigned areas of responsibility clean and well organized.
Demonstrate good judgment when performing written or oral
instructions. Complete required documents accurately, and in a
timely manner. Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred but not
required). Communicate issues or concerns to supervisor in a timely
manner. Intermediate to advanced level computer skills required.
Attend safety meetings and other departmental or company related
meetings as assigned. Participate in all “Lock Out-Tag Out” (LOTO)
and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) events and trainings. Observe all
“Good Manufacturing Practices” (GMPs) as specified by the Company’s
food safety policy. Perform additional duties as assigned. (May
also be asked to perform “Task Level” duties as needed). Education
/ Experience High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)
recommended. Trade/Technical certification recommended. 2-4 years
of related experience recommended. Pay Range: $23.70-$28.85/hr
