This position will be located in Mojave, CA.The selected candidate has the responsibility, authority, and accountability for leading the manufacturing activities of a given cost center within restricted programs, including quality, cost and schedule objectives and factory accountability along with other duties.Essential Functions:

• Providing direction and coaching to technicians and other production personnel in the assembly and manufacturing areas.
• Ensures team members receive the required training and prepares the daily work plans in support of overall program objectives.
• Encourages and provides direction for career development of employees, including educational options for highly motivated employees.
• Provides leadership/direction to ensure all affordability initiatives and opportunities for process improvements are systematically identified, pursued, and supported.The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels.Basic Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma /equivalent with 5 years' experience in an aerospace, automotive, military, manufacturing, maintenance and/or related environment. Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience.
  • 2 years' experience in a leadership, supervisory and/or management role.
  • A current and active DoD Secret security clearance with a periodic re-investigation OR an original adjudication date completed within the last 5 years
  • The ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
  • Must be available to work any shiftPreferred Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree
    • Special Program Access
    • Leadership experience in aerospace or a related industry
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) and the ability to effectively communicate with various levels of leadership
      
      Salary Range: $89,800 USD - $134,800 USD
      
      Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
