To support our ambitious plans, we are seeking a Director of Information Technology (IT) Business Solutions who can bring their significant expertise to support a purpose-driven, operationally focused, highly motivated, and growing team to make a positive impact in the world. While this role will be strategically developing the IT business solutions department you will also partner with the C-Suite team to collaborate all while playing a vital role in ensuring that our company's information technology is continuously available and secure. The Director of IT/ Business Solutions is needed to act as a partner in making the right choices for the business from a technology perspective, supporting the day-to-day operation, leading cross-functional projects and making things easier for our customers. The right person for the job will thrive working remotely in a fast-paced, high volume, dynamic environment and will be a self-starter who is also a complete finisher.Helps Soligent make a positive impact by:Strong organizational leadership providing cross collaboration efforts with other business units on ERP and other software systems focused on developing efficient and scalable process solutionsLeading, recruiting, and developing the IT team to change and advance Soligent's systems and technology landscape, with a hands-on and cost-conscious approachManagement, strategy and execution of IT infrastructure for our organization (computer and information systems, security, communication systems)Leading the company's efforts to move secure and scalable computer systems and technologies forward to ensure success in systems development, network architecture and services, telecommunications, web services reliability, and conforming to legal and compliance requirementsSourcing and building a team of their own project portfolio and program management and serve as lead project manager as needed.Solutions minded and act as liaison between IT and the business unitsPartner with senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify business and technology needs and to optimize the use of information technologyDeveloping and implementing methods to standardize, simplify, automate, and continuously improve IT processes, tools, and systems, to optimize service levels and control costsOversees security of systems, networks, and enterprise information systemsManaging financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting, contract review, and negotiationBuild and maintain relationships with external IT vendors and service providers with a best-in-class approachAbility to maintain, develop and vet out current third party vendorsTake the lead in developing and administering a comprehensive strategic technology plan supporting the compliance mission and goals of the companyLocation: Fully remote position.
