Your primary responsibility will be to inspect and recommend proper corrective action on environmental and sanitation conditions to keep military personnel safe and healthy. Preventive Medicine Specialists study and prevent the spread of disease. You will conduct or assist with inspections, surveys, and laboratory procedures. Job training for Preventive Medicine Specialists consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 15 weeks of Advanced Individual Training.
