Staff Psychiatrist$137.48 - $165.19 per hour (Board Certified)$133.95 - $160.54 per hour (Board Eligible)
California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is seeking psychiatrists currently employed with the state of California who are interested in additional appointments to provide after-hours coverage in a part-time capacity. For maximum allowable hours and location availability, please contact your CHU analyst.
These uncommon positions are available to all psychiatrists currently employed with the State of California who are not supervisors, managers, or executives. While your additional appointment may service the institution/worksite where you are currently assigned to work, you may not perform the same duties as your full time appointment, e.g. not in the same yard or unit.
Additional Information:

• Time worked is not considered overtime.
• Time worked will be outside your normal hours.
• The dates and hours of work will be determined by the hiring location.We currently have opportunities at California City Correctional Facility, located in Kern County's California City.
