OPEN POSITION: -
Physician - PediatricianSCHEDULE: -
- Full-Time or Part-Time
- Monday through Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
- No Nights or Weekends
- Minimal On-Call Duties
FULL-TIME COMPENSATION:
- $200,000 to $260,000 Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience

This thriving community health center opened in 2011 and, today, employs 20+ physicians across a variety of specialties - pediatrics, ob/gyn, infectious disease, orthopedics, behavioral health, podiatry, and pain management - as well as full scope primary care. -They operate 4 convenient clinic locations with a robust support staff of nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and clinical and administrative team members.
POSITION DESCRIPTION: -
Pediatricians see 25 to 30 patients per day, with the support of a dedicated clinical assistant.Specific duties of the role include, but are not limited to:- perform evaluation and treatment of patients in an outpatient setting
- take patient histories
- conduct physical examinations
- conduct well child exams
- formulate diagnoses and proper coding
- order diagnostic tests
- prescribe and order medication
- develop care plans
- provide preventive health maintenance
- assess acute needs and chronic conditions
- review and sign off on laboratory and radiology results
- ensure there is proper patient follow-up
- initiate specialist referrals
- communicate with specialty providers after referrals
- participate in professional education programs
- participate in care team meetings, provider meetings, and all-staff meetingsThe practice uses the Epic EHR.On-call duties are minimal / infrequent and consist of phone triage only.
REQUIREMENTS:
- California medical license
- DEA
- Board Certified or Eligible, Pediatrics
- no experience required
