Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Pomona, CA Agency: Job.com Pay: $2,600 to $2,700 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Neonatal Care in Delivery Room APGAR scores Collect cord samples Neonatal Resuscitation Radiant Warmers/Thermoregulation Antepartum Care and Procedures Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation) Sterile vaginal exam Use of EFM (External Fetal Heart Monitoring) Newborn Care Cord Care Discharge teaching to parents Infant Identification Metabolic Screen Newborn Assessment Newborn hypoglycemia Thermoregulation Work Settings Facility births/month >300 Medication & Administration Insulin drips Magnesium Sulfate therapy Professional Topics and Skills Isolation Precautions/PPE Fetal Monitoring Recognition and Treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns Spiral Electrode Placement Use of External Fetal Monitoring Use of IUPC (Intrauterine pressure catheter) placement and calibration IV therapy/Phlebotomy Starting and maintaining IVs Labor and Delivery Management Sterile vaginal exam Requirements RN License ACLS*, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP
