Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Telemetry - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 16 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Job Details: • This is a Nurse Shift Manager position combining charge nurse, clinical mentor, and manager responsibilities • Provide on-shift leadership to ensure safe, high-quality, and compassionate patient care • Round on patients and address service or safety concerns • Serve as a resource for both clinical and interpersonal issues • Take charge nurse assignments as needed based on census and staffing levels • Support staff and promote a positive work environment • Work night shifts with every other weekend requirement • First to float when needed • Must have been charge RN in last assignment • No first-time travelers accepted • Manager interviews required • 3 weeks of orientation: 1st week classroom, following 2 weeks unit orientation • Overtime paid after 8 hours per day • Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS - AHA or APEX • California nursing license required • Charting system: Cerner • BSN not required • Cancellation policy: Hospital can cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment Facility: This acute care hospital provides comprehensive medical services to the community with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care.
