Nuclear Medicine Tech Location: Long Beach, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,119 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: CA License Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT N or NMTCB Required Must-Have: - Siemens Experience - Gastric Emptying - HIDA Scan - MUGA Scan - PET Scan - Limited Whole Body - Liver Scan - Hemangioma - Drawing Venous Blood - Starting and maintaining IVs - Isolation Precautions / PPE - Storing, Handling, and Disposal of Radioactive Materials Description: The position is for a Nuclear Medicine Tech on a day shift. The schedule includes five 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 16:30. Call is required during weekends and after hours. Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year experience in the field. The unit accepts first-time travelers. Patient age group includes adults. Candidates will float within the hospital based on census. The work involves various nuclear medicine procedures and equipment. Knowledge of special equipment and procedures is essential. Candidates must adhere to all safety and handling protocols.
