Medical Assistant Location: Santa Monica, CA Agency: Acruex Health Pay: $920 to $1,080 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Pay Rate: $23.00 - $27.00/Hourly. Summary: The Medical Assistant supports physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals by performing clinical and administrative duties in healthcare settings such as clinics, hospitals, and private practices. This role ensures efficient patient flow and delivers high-quality patient care while maintaining accurate medical records. Locals accepted at lower rate Responsibilities: Greet patients, take appropriate vital signs, review current meds and record in medical record. Assist with tracking and monitoring department specific data. Explain policies, procedures, or services to patients based on scope of practice. Set up exam/procedure rooms appropriate to the patient visit needs. Clean and re-process equipment and supplies following department guidelines. Requirements Requirements: 2 years working as an MA in an outpatient clinic or medical office setting, BLS Certification, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), High School Diploma, GED or equivalent, Experience with CS-Link/Epic, Locals accepted at lower rate.
