Job Description Revolution Healthcare Services is seeking a travel Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) for a travel job in Mission Viejo, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 04/21/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Clinical Laboratory Scientist – Southern California Start Date: ASAP Location: Mission Viejo, California Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 8-hour AM shift, 4:00 AM - 12:30 PM on weekdays, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM on weekends. Weekend rotation may exceed every other weekend to meet department needs. Floating between facilities may be required at any time. Highlights: - Work in a 488-bed acute care trauma hospital with high-acuity patient care - Gain extensive experience with massive transfusions and critical blood bank procedures - Use Epic charting system in a fast-paced clinical laboratory environment - Free parking provided - Opportunity to work across multiple laboratory departments including blood bank, hematology, and chemistry - May float to partner facility locations to support regional patient care needs Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience required - Strong blood bank experience essential – trauma hospital experience strongly preferred - Current California CLS state license (must be in hand prior to start) - BLS certification required - ASCP certification preferred - Epic charting experience required - Previous travel experience required (first-time travelers not accepted) - Trauma Level I experience preferred - LA fire card within the last 30 days required - Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years Why It's a Great Opportunity: This role offers Clinical Laboratory Scientists the chance to work in a high-volume trauma center where your blood bank expertise will directly impact critical patient outcomes during massive transfusions and emergency situations.
