Job Description:

The Business Development Representative is responsible for expanding Greentank's customer base within the US marketplace. They will accomplish this by identifying prospective customers and initiating a client relationship.RESPONSIBILITIES: Work in lock-step with Sales Representative Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Sales Representatives Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans Present Greentank Technologies Corp. as a professional, trusted brand to potential clients Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services Focus on continuous improvement by applying various techniques and principles and making recommendations to management Other duties as assigned Requirements University degree or equivalent combination of education & experience Three to five years in a professional environment Cannabis industry experience considered a strong asset Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Representative or similar role Track record of achieving sales quotas Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) Ability to deliver engaging presentations Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts) Excellent communication skills Understanding of sales performance metrics Excellent communication and negotiation skills Highly organized and able to multitask Self-driven and proactive nature Patient and active listener Demonstrate leadership qualities University degree or equivalent combination of education & experience Three to five years in a professional environment Cannabis industry experience considered a strong asset Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Representative or similar role Track record of achieving sales quotas Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls) Ability to deliver engaging presentations Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts) Excellent communication skills Understanding of sales performance metrics Excellent communication and negotiation skills Highly organized and able to multitask Self-driven and proactive nature Patient and active listener Demonstrate leadership qualities Benefits Competitive base salary + performance bonus Comprehensive medical & dental benefits coverage A highly innovative and enjoyable team culture
