BCBA ( Board Certified Behavior Analyst )

As a professional in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), our Board
Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will play a pivotal role in
delivering evidence-based, transformative care to individuals with
autism spectrum disorder and other intellectual/developmental
disabilities. You will conduct skills and functional behavior
assessments, develop and implement individualized behavior support
plans, train and supervise behavior technicians and other
caregivers, and collaborate with families to promote positive

work in our adult division within the _San Fernando Valley_
area.
Compensation: $72,800 - $83,200 Annually (not including sign-on
bonus)
Sign-on Bonus: $5,000
Location: San Fernando Valley

Job Responsibilities
Conduct behavioral assessments and create individualized treatment
plans for clients based on the principles of Applied Behavior
Analysis (ABA).
Implement, monitor, and adjust ABA therapy programs to meet the
needs of clients with autism spectrum disorders or other
developmental disabilities.
Provide direct one-on-one therapy sessions with clients, utilizing
techniques such as discrete trial training, natural environment
teaching, and task analysis.
Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and
other support staff in the implementation of ABA interventions.
Collect and analyze data on client progress and use this
information to adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to
ensure consistency in the application of ABA strategies across all
environments.
Work in various settings including individual's homes, day
programs, group homes
Ensure all practices are in compliance with ethical standards and
regulations set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
(BACB).
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client
progress, goals, and coordinated care.
Provide parent training and support to help generalize skills and
behaviors to the home and community settings.
Maintain accurate and detailed treatment records, progress notes,
and reports for each client.
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA) and develop behavior
intervention plans (BIPs) when necessary.
Stay current with research and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Psychology,
Education, or a related field
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
Experience as a Behavior Consultant / BCBA in developing and
implementing ABA therapy programs for individuals with autism or
other developmental disorders
In-depth knowledge of behavior analysis and behavior modification
principles
Proficient in conducting functional behavior assessments and
behavior intervention plans
Ability to supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians
(RBTs) and other ABA paraprofessionals
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with data collection, analysis, and reporting
Familiarity with ethical guidelines and professional conduct
standards as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
(BACB)
Ability to collaborate with families, educators, and other
professionals to support the client's treatment goals
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto
insurance
Must pass a criminal background check and Tuberculosis (TB)
test
Bilingual Skills are a plus
Legally authorized to work in the United States
