Aerospace company is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their growing team.Onsite OpportunityM-F ScheduleDescription:Develops, refines and maintains financial models including payroll and pricingAssists with monthly close including creation and posting of journal entries and reconciliationsCross trains with Accounting Assistant to provide back up for Accounts Payable, Credit Card Processing and Accounts ReceivableCompiles weekly and monthly reports for Upper ManagementAssists with Budget Compilation and Periodic ReportingInteracts critically with Standard Operating Procedures and recommends improvementsUses their strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Charts, Filters, etc. to summarize information and help non-financial employees better do their jobsEmbraces a broader role than a traditional Financial Analyst - will partner with Supply Chain, Pricing, Contracts, Engineering, Business Development and Factory OperationsProtects company, employees, customers and suppliers with a high degree of confidentialityThe company reserves the right to add or change duties at any timeSkills:Financial analysis, month end, budgeting, excel pivot tables, reporting, journal entry, reconciliation, financial modeling, cost accounting, government contract, quickbooks, adp workforce nowAdditional Skills & Qualifications:AA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration or equivalent experience; BA or MBA preferredMust have a minimum of two years Finance/Accounting experience, aerospace industry experience preferredCost Accounting Experience including cost pools and government contract pricingGeneral knowledge of FAR and CAS regulations and Government ContractsWorking knowledge of QuickBooks and ADP Workforce NowExperience Level:Entry Level About Aston Carter:Aston Carter is a distinguished global provider of recruitment and staffing services to companies requiring highly specialized business professionals.
