Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history.We are looking for a Dimensional Control Technician 2 to join our team on 2nd Shift Mojave!This position performs a variety of duties assisting mechanical engineers in the development of mechanical and electromechanical engineering designs, tests, fabrications, modifications, assemblies and components. Drafts detailed drawings for fabrication. Devices, fabricates, and assembles new or modified mechanical components or assemblies. Sets up and tests complete prototype units and subassemblies under operational conditions. Analyzes data and recommends modifications to components or test procedure to meet desired specifications.The selected candidate will be required to support manufacturing environment covering multiple programs, and support tooling and production requirements needed at suppliers and/or customers. The selected candidate may also assist in the assignment of personnel to support all Aerospace Systems Programs, and determine the best system to be used for data acquisition. Basic Qualifications:

• AA or other 2 year technical degree in a related discipline and 1 years of related experience
• OR a High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of experience with Computer-Aided Measurement Systems (C.A.M.S.) and/or Laser Tracking Interferometer Systems (FARO-LEICA)
• The ability to work 2nd shift in Mojave is a MUST. Mandatory Overtime intermittent based on schedule.
• Experience with assembly tooling and/or composites fabrication and assembly.
• Support tooling requirements needed at suppliers and/or customers.
• Experience with Computer-Aided Measurement Systems (C.A.M.S.) and/or Laser Tracking Interferometer Systems (LEICA).
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Machinist experience
  • Familiarity with multiple computer aided metrology systems such as laser trackers, articulated arms, scanners 6DoF (Six Degrees of Freedom) etc.
  • Experience with computer aided graphic interfaces (Verisurf, MasterCAM)
  • Experience in the ability to analyze collected data to computer models.
  • Knowledge of Integrated Systems Air Frames and Aero Structures
  • Position requires travel and ability to work any shift as necessary.
  • Possess an existing DoD and Special program access. Salary Range: $59,400 USD - $99,000 USD Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
