You will be joining a team creating innovative designs that meet our demanding requirements. - Prototyping, hands-on design, and working directly with technicians is standard practice. - You will be coordinating with multiple groups including systems, structures, production control, pilots, and supply chain. - -Responsibilities

  • Design brackets, panels, mountings, and enclosures using Catia V5
  • Component selection: connectors, terminal blocks, junction modules
  • Develop process specifications -
  • Develop custom reports such as long lead items and discrepancy lists
  • Perform trade studies of multiple solutions to present to program leadership
  • Present design reviews to program leadership
  • Production support redlines, change requests, non-conformances, MRBWhat you bringWhat you bring -Basic Qualifications
    • BS in Engineering with 3 years of experience in the aerospace industry
    • Understanding of electrical schematics and wiring
    • Extensive experience with Catia V5
    • Experience developing mechanical components including machined components, sheet metal, and composite lay-up
    • Attention to detail in technical writing
    • Experience with schematics in Microsoft Visio is a plus
    • Experience with Solidworks Electrical or Capital Logic / Harness XC is a plus
    • Experience with 3DEXPERIENCE is a plus
    • Experience with flight test instrumentation is a plus -ITAR RequirementsTo conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR 120.15) or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. -As part of our commitment to health and safety, COVID-19 vaccines are required for current U.S. teammates, as well as all newly hired employees. -As of -October 1, 2021, all new hires must be able to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus, (fully vaccinated means at least two weeks have expired since receiving the vaccinations last dose as recommended by the manufacturer).
