Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Aircraft Maintenance Manager for Flight Test Engineering covering two locations: Mojave Air & Space Port and Fox Airfield.

This position will oversee the maintenance, servicing, repair and overhauling of multiple aircraft and aircraft systems associated with several programs based at Mojave, Ca and Fox Airfield in the Antelope Valley. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring that assigned aircraft are maintained and serviced in accordance with company policy and associated aircraft tech orders and maintenance schedules.

Daily responsibilities include:

Manage/ Monitor day-to-day assignments and activities of nonexempt and entry level exempt employees to ensure technical compliance. Ensure all work is done to company and FAA standards and safety is a top priority. Support planning, scheduling, and budget estimating to meet program expectations. Work with functional and program leadership to ensure proper staffing and performance goals. Maintain hangars and facilities per company, safety, and ESH&M standards

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years' experience in aircraft maintenance or 7 years' experience in lieu of a degree
Must have an Active DOD Secret clearance or higher
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
Previous management/ supervision experience
Knowledge of Flight Test standards for quality, environmental, and safety policies
Experience with working multiple aircraft and programs simultaneously
A&P License

Salary Range: $108,700 USD - $163,100 USD

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
