About this Position:

Under direct supervision supports HPC site manager with the planning and implementation of the maintenance and repair of buildings, test tracks, equipment, and landscaping to provide the maximum utilization of facilities and efficiency of production. The key focus of this role will be leading and supporting electrical/mechanical equipment installation, maintenance, repairs, and replacements. Pavement maintenance for roads and test tracks. Landscaping - yard & grounds maintenance for the entire facility.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance, provide direction, and track performance

  • Support Site Manager with day-to-day operations

  • Develop scope of work and bid matrix for project estimates

  • Manage equipment repairs and maintenance

  • Pavement maintenance for roads and test tracks

  • Drive innovation while reducing operational costs in the facilities

  • Support monthly and yearly budget development by sourcing cost estimates

  • Respond to off-hour emergency calls per on-call rotation as requested

  • Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures

  • Utilize internal CMMS to build and manage building workflows and spare part inventory for maintenance and repair work

    Who we are seeking:

    Required Experience:

    A minimum of 5+ years of experience working with mechanical systems, electrical power distribution, plumbing, landscaping, emergency power distribution, and outside vendors. Previous facilities management experience preferred.

    Required Education:

    Bachelor's degree preferred or high school diploma + equivalent required experience.

    Other job-specific skills:

    • Effectively lead multi-disciplinary facility projects utilizing civil, electrical, mechanical, or operational management knowledge.

    • Ability to be self-sufficient and complete tasks with little direction

    • Proven self-starter

    • Good verbal and written communication skills

    • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and web-based operational tools

    • Proficient with maintenance management software

    • Solid organizational skills

    • Strong attention to detail

    • Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment
