Position Summary
Stratolaunch is a technology accelerator that engineers operationally realistic testing at Mach 5+. Our air-launched, Talon testbeds are reusable, cost-effective platforms that enable routine access to the hypersonic environment. We deliver flight data critical to validating system performance and achieving rapid technology deployment. Together with our customers, we drive innovations that are imperative to advancing national security.
This recruitment is for a temporary Custodian role at the Mojave Air and Space Port, working at the Stratolaunch headquarters. THIS IS A 4 WEEK TEMPORARY ASSIGNMENT
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Under supervision, performs the janitorial services needed to maintain assigned buildings and surroundings in a clean and orderly condition.
- Daily floor care
- Dusting & vacuuming
- Bathroom cleaning and disinfecting
- Trash removal
- Window cleaning
- Additional tasks as necessary (i.e. furniture moving)
EXPERIENCE
- Any combination of training and experience that will provide the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
o Knowledge of: simple arithmetic, including ratios and proportions; knowledge of basic hand tools and electric floor equipment used in janitorial services; ability to follow written and oral instructions; ability to use good body mechanics and follow basic safety practices in the performance of job duties; ability to read and understand labels on containers and supplies.
o Ability to: communicate effectively with staff, co-workers and supervisors about completed and pending tasks;
Incumbents are required to work with a variety of hazardous materials, and may be exposed to infectious waste, noxious fumes, dust and loud noises.
